The right cable length
Cable length depends on the parking space, vehicle charging port position and routing around the car. Measure the real route from the station to the port and add a margin in case you park the other way round. EVmate wallboxes commonly offer 6, 8 or 10 m. A cable that is too long is heavier and harder to store.
Clear add-ons
Accessories are separated from wallboxes, so customers can easily see what is added to the order. The range includes charging cables, RFID and RS485/TCP modules, a metal stand and other accessories.
A cable with the right rating
The cable must match the phases and current you want to charge with, and the connector of the car. Common versions are 11 kW and 22 kW. A higher-rated cable is heavier and does not speed up charging if the car or station cannot use the extra power.
